Foley began his professional career as lead singer for the internationally known folk-singing group, "The Brothers Four". With hit records and concert tours, the "Brothers" took their music to many corners of the world for more than 30 years. Their recording of "Greenfields" reached #1 on the Billboard charts.

Dick spent 16 years in the broadcast industry as an on-air host of several programs at KOMO Television, Seattle's ABC Affiliate Station. During his broadcast career he was awarded two local Emmy's. Today he applies his skills in the healthcare setting producing clinical and educational videos at Virginia Mason Medical Center. He is an accomplished producer, writer, interviewer and communicator.

In mid 2004 Dick became part of a national folk music tour, singing in a new group called Glenn Yarbrough and The Folk Reunion. Along with The Kingston Trio and The Brothers Four, the tour played in 40 cities across the country, finishing with a sold-out appearance at Seattle's Benaroya Hall in May of 2005.  Foley and his wife Mary have four children and two grandchildren and they make their home in Bellevue, Washington.
